The Belgian Wiffles closed down the Wiffle Iron after week 3 of the 2013 season and quickly found a new home at Mercure Park in Rockwood. The name is Wiff-Hill Grounds, and it incorporates the park's sled hill - located on the southern edge of the park - into their center field.
Wiff-Hill Grounds uses 200 feet of silt fencing to create what is, in most part, a pretty pitcher friendly field. The lines are pretty short, especially for lefties, but the field gets deep quickly. Left field also has a wooden utility pole in place as a foul pole. Wiff-Hill Grounds has more than enough parking, and there is a nearby public restroom. Also, if fans are too hot, there is shade in right field foul territory. The Belgian Wiffles did a great job finding a new home on the fly and making it their own. There are also some talks that this field is in the running to host the 2013 John Hill for the Thrill Tournament.
