With the winds being too much to play during the 2013 season at the Warriors Den, the Westside Warriors changed fields mid-season and moved to Gill Elementary School. For that season, exactly like the Den, the Reservation used pre-existing fencing. This time in the corner of a soccer field. It was a pretty standard field with symmetrical outfield dimensions.
2014 saw a makeover for the field as silt fencing is used in right field to give the Reservation a Shore...t Porch. Get it? With the makeover, the left field is now measured at a deep 140' with center at a standard 100'. Also new this year and for the first time in Warriors history, a backstop is now a part of the field. Foul poles have been installed for 2014 as well.
Gill Elementary is off of Gill Rd., in between 8 and 9 mile roads. There is more than enough close parking and a porta-potty is next to the field.

On the other end of the soccer field is another spot for a field meaning two games could be played at the same time making it a good spot for a preseason tournament, lots of playground equipment makes it friendly for players with kids. |
